As a freshman at Portsmouth Abbey he was promoted from the third line to the first line at midseason and held the spot the rest of the year, finishing with the second-best plus-minus on the team. The next step in his development is finishing - the scoring touch is the projectable upside on a player who already does the hard, winning things well.
